Northern Province Fisher People's Union held their general council|උතුරු පළාත් ධීවර ජනතා සංගමය සිය මහසභා රැස්වීම පවත්වයි|வடமாகாண மீனவர் மக்கள் சங்கத்தின் பொதுக்கூட்டம் நடைபெற்று வருகிறது

Northern Province Fisher Peoples' Union convened it's General Body meeting at Jeyapuram Fisheries Cooperative Society office at Kilinochchi yesterday, 03rd August 2024 with the facilitation of Francis Joseph, the leader of Poonagari Samasam and Vice Chairperson of Northern Province Fisher Peoples' Union.

Francis Joseph and the Samasam team organized a grand celebration and felicitation to all committed leaders since the inception.

Francis Joseph, spoke about the NPFPU and said, "We all know the NPFPU will be the one and only political voice of small scale fisher people in the northern province. Our unity can not be broken anyone. We unitedly fight all evils against SSF. We are grateful for the facilitation and committed work of NAFSO Sri Lanka to formation and to take political shape of our union"

Mr. Herman Kumara, National convener of NAFSO also participated in this event.

උතුරු පළාත් ධීවර ජනතා සංගමයේ උප සභාපති සහ පුනාගරි සමසම් සංවිධානයේ නායක ෆ්‍රැන්සිස් ජෝසෆ් මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් උතුරු පළාත් ධීවර ජනතා සංගමය සිය මහ සභා රැස්විම 2024 අගෝස්තු මස 03 වන දින කිලිනොච්චිය ජෙයපුරම් ධීවර සමූපකාර සමිති කාර්‍යාලයේදී කැඳවා තිබුණි.

මෙහි ෆ්‍රැන්සිස් ජෝසෆ් මහතා සහ සම්සම් කණ්ඩායම විසින් ඉතා උත්කර්ෂවත් අන්දමින් ආරම්භයේ සිටම කැප වූ සියලුම නායකයන් හට උපහාර දැක්වීම්ක් ද පවත්වන ලදී.

මෙහිදී ජෝසෆ් මහතා කියාසිටියේ උතුරු පළාත් කුඩා පරිමාණ ධීවර ජනතාවගේ එකම දේශපාලන හඬ වන්නේ NPFPU බවත් අප එක්සත්ව කුඩා පරිමාණ ධීවරයන්ට එරෙහිව සිදුවන සියලු බාධා කිරීම්වලට එරෙහිව නැගීසිටිය යුතු බවත් ය. අපගේ සංවිධානයට අවශ්‍ය දේශපාලන හැඩය ලබාගැනීම සඳහා නැෆ්සෝ ශ්‍රී ලංකා සංවිධානය මගින් ලබාදෙන කැපවීම පිළිබඳව අප ඔවුන්ට ස්තූතිවන්ත වෙමු'... යි යනුවෙන් තවදුරටත් ඔහු ප්‍රකාශ කළේය. මෙම අවස්තාවට නැෆ්සෝ හි ජාතික කැඳවුම්කාර හර්මන් කුමාර මහතා ද සහභාගී විය.

வடமாகாண கடற்றொழிலாளர் மக்கள் சங்கம் தனது பொதுக்குழுவை (2024) ஆகஸ்ட் (03) கிளிநொச்சி ஜெயபுரம் கடற்றொழிலாளர் கூட்டுறவுச் சங்கத்தில் வடமாகாண மீனவர் சங்கத்தின் உப தலைவரும் புனகரி சமாசத்தின் தலைவருமான திரு.பிரான்சிஸ் ஜோசப் தலைமையில் கூட்டியிருந்தது. . 

இங்கு திரு.பிரான்சிஸ் ஜோசப் மற்றும் சம்சம் குழுவினர் ஆரம்பம் முதல் அர்ப்பணிப்புள்ள அனைத்து தலைவர்களுக்கும் மிக பிரமாண்டமான முறையில் அஞ்சலி செலுத்தினர்.இங்கு, வடமாகாண சிறு மீனவர்களின் அரசியல் குரலாக NPFPU மட்டுமே உள்ளது என்றும், சிறு மீனவர்களுக்கு எதிரான அனைத்து தடைகளுக்கும் எதிராக நாம் ஒற்றுமையாக நிற்க வேண்டும் என்றும் திரு ஜோசப் கூறினார். எமது அமைப்புக்குத் தேவையான அரசியல் வடிவத்தைப் பெறுவதற்கு NAFSO Sri Lanka அமைப்பு வழங்கிய அர்ப்பணிப்புக்காக அவர்களுக்கு நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்'... என அவர் மேலும் தெரிவித்தார். 

இந்நிகழ்வில் NAFSO இன் தேசிய அழைப்பாளர் திரு.ஹர்மன் குமாரவும் கலந்துகொண்டார்.
